Nao Yoshioka

Nao Yoshioka is a soul and R&B singer-songwriter from Osaka, Japan. After moving to New York City in 2009, she reached the Top Dog Round at the Apollo Theater's Season Final in 2011. Yoshioka released her debut album, The Light, in 2013, followed by releases including The Truth (2018) and Flow (2024). In 2018, she became the first Japanese artist to chart in the top 40 of the Billboard Urban Adult Contemporary chart. She has performed at venues such as Blue Note New York and has worked with musicians including James Poyser and Eric Roberson.
