Few artists crash-landed into the UK dubstep explosion with the sheer blockbuster ambition of Nero. The trio of Dan Stephens, Joe Ray, and vocalist Alana Watson weren’t just chasing the drop; they were building worlds. Signing to Chase & Status’s MTA Records, their 2011 debut Welcome Reality felt like a cyberpunk opera fueled by cinematic strings, searing synth leads, and Watson's soaring vocals on anthems like "Promises."
