Sassyblack

Sassyblack is the solo project of Catherine Harris-White, a Seattle-based singer, songwriter, and producer. She was previously one half of the hip-hop and R&B duo THEESatisfaction. As a solo artist, Harris-White has released a number of projects, including the albums No More Weak Dates and New Black Swing. Her work also includes acting, with appearances on HBO's Vinyl and Comedy Central's Broad City, and composing music for organizations such as the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre.
