Utena Kobayashi

Utena Kobayashi is a musician, composer, and steelpan player from Nagano, Japan. In addition to solo releases like the albums VATONSE (2016) and 6 roads (2021), she is a member of the trio Black Boboi and the duo MIDI Provocateur. Kobayashi has also performed with the Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra and as a session musician for artists such as D.A.N. and KID FRESINO. In 2018, she founded the music label BINDIVIDUAL. She has composed music for films, including 12 Suicidal Teens (2019).
