Daft Punk

Daft Punk, known for their groundbreaking electronic music, were a French duo formed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Born in 1974 and 1975 respectively, they grew up in Paris. Entering the music scene in the early '90s, they became pioneers in the house and electronic genres. Known for their robot personas and unique production style, they rarely used their own vocals, instead using vocoders and guest artists. They disbanded in 2021.
