LE MATOS

Le Matos is a Canadian electronic group from Montreal, founded by Jean-Philippe Bernier and Jean-Nicolas Leupi in 2007. The duo, later expanding to include Vincent Menard and Maxime Dumesnil, gained early notice for their remixes before releasing their debut album, Join Us, in 2013. Le Matos is known for composing the scores for films, including the 2015 cult movie Turbo Kid and 2018's Summer of '84. Following the premiere of Turbo Kid, they released a companion album, Chronicles of the Wasteland, which reworked the film's score into dance tracks.
