Portishead

Portishead is an English electronic band formed in Bristol in 1991. The group consists of Geoff Barrow, singer Beth Gibbons, and guitarist Adrian Utley, with engineer Dave McDonald also contributing to their work. The band released its debut album, Dummy, in 1994, which won the Mercury Music Prize the following year. A self-titled album followed in 1997 and the live recording Roseland NYC Live was released in 1998. After a lengthy hiatus, Portishead released a third studio album, Third, in 2008.
