Some producers find inspiration in a record crate; Halo found an entire universe inside an Xbox. The project is a deep-canon dive into the world of the Halo video games, a discography built by re-engineering Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori’s iconic scores for cavernous, 4/4 dancefloors. The smash "Halo Theme Mjolnir Mix" is the obvious entry point, but tracks like "Remember Reach" and "The Pillar of Autumn" prove this is no novelty act. Instead, it’s a full-blown mission: translating the Gregorian chants and orchestral swells of the source material into a collision of gaming obsession and raw rave euphoria. This is the sound of a Spartan super-soldier finding religion under a strobe light.
