The Golden Dregs

The Golden Dregs is the musical project of Benjamin Woods, a songwriter from Cornwall, UK, known for his baritone voice. After living in London, Woods returned to his hometown of Truro, an experience that informed the album `On Grace & Dignity`, released on 4AD in 2023. The follow-up, `Godspeed`, was issued via his independent label, Joy Of Life International. Woods has also announced an album of reworked catalog tracks titled `In The Company of Strangers; 2015-2025 Revisited`, which includes a reinterpretation of "Linoleum" featuring Sophie Jamieson.
