Tricky

Tricky is a producer and rapper from Bristol, England, recognized as a pioneer of the trip-hop genre. Born Adrian Thaws, he was an early member of the sound system The Wild Bunch, which evolved into Massive Attack. He contributed to Massive Attack's 1991 debut album, Blue Lines, before leaving the group to pursue a solo career. His debut album, Maxinquaye, was released in 1995 and featured vocalist Martina Topley-Bird, with whom he had a long-term collaboration. Tricky has since released numerous solo albums, including Pre-Millennium Tension (1996) and Fall to Pieces (2020).
