Mr. Oizo

Mr. Oizo is the electronic music project of French filmmaker and producer Quentin Dupieux. He gained widespread recognition in 1999 with the instrumental track "Flat Beat," which became a number-one hit across Europe after being featured in a Levi's television commercial starring the puppet character Flat Eric. The song was included on his debut album, Analog Worms Attack (1999). Dupieux has since released numerous albums and EPs on labels including F Communications and Ed Banger Records. As a filmmaker, his credits include Rubber and Le Daim.
