Pete Rango

Pete Rango is a Colombian-born music producer, audio engineer, and multidisciplinary builder from Fairfax, VA, who works across music, film, and emerging technology. He founded the independent label XUE Records and the nonprofit Life Is Valuable Corp, focused on creative empowerment and education. Rango describes his practice as sitting at the intersection of sound, storytelling, culture, and systems-building, with the goal of building something that helps people connect. He has worked across genres from metal/hardcore to electronic and hip-hop, landing a song on Jesse Boykins III's EP Bartholomew WAVE I and placing "Vi$ions" on HBO's Insecure.
