Machine Girl

Machine Girl is an American electronic music project from Long Island, New York, started by Matt Stephenson in 2012. The project became a duo in 2015 with drummer Sean Kelly and later a trio with the addition of guitarist Lucy Caputi in 2024. Their work is described as a mix of digital hardcore, breakcore, and punk. Notable releases include the albums WLFGRL (2014), ...Because I'm Young Arrogant and Hate Everything You Stand For (2017), The Ugly Art (2018), and U-Void Synthesizer (2020). In 2022, Machine Girl composed the soundtrack for the video game Neon White.
