GAS

GAS is the main musical project of German electronic musician and composer Wolfgang Voigt. From Cologne, Voigt began releasing music as GAS in 1995, producing a distinctive style of ambient techno. The project released four notable albums on the Mille Plateaux label—Gas (1996), Zauberberg (1997), Königsforst (1998), and Pop (2000)—before a long hiatus. Voigt, a co-founder of the Kompakt record label, revived the project in 2017 with the album Narkopop, followed by Rausch in 2018.
