Boards of Canada

Boards of Canada is an influential electronic music duo known for their work in genres such as IDM, ambient, trip hop, and downtempo. Comprised of brothers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin, they grew up in Scotland. They started creating music in the 1980s, forming the group officially in 1986. Their production often features nostalgic soundscapes with samples from public service announcements and children's programs. A notable piece is "Roygbiv" from their debut album, "Music Has the Right to Children."
