Gyze

Gyze is a melodic death metal band from Hokkaido, Japan. The group was formed in 2009 as Suicide Heaven by brothers Ryoji Shinomoto (vocals, guitar) and Shuji Shinomoto (drums), changing its name to Gyze in 2011. With bassist Aruta Watanabe joining in 2013, the band released the albums Fascinating Violence (2013), Black Bride (2015), Northern Hell Song (2017), and Asian Chaos (2019). Gyze has toured with acts including DragonForce and Battle Beast. In 2023, the band began operating under the name Ryujin.
